SEO Elite

SEO Elite is an incredibly powerful tool to have in your arsenal if you’re intersted in getting organic search traffic from the major search engines and you’re willing to actually use it.

There’s nothing magical about what it does and it’s certainly not "black hat". However it’s so much easier using SEO Elite to optimize your site that it’s just crazy not to own it. My only gripe is that I sometimes find it unintuitive to use, especially saving and opening projects. However, that might be more a case of me not using it as much as I should or there could be some user-interface improvements that might be good to add to the next version. I still wouldn't give it up but I’ll let you be the judge.

What does it do:

SEO Elite allows you to do is automate most of the tedious tasks that come with traditional SEO work. Check out the link at the end of this article and sign up for the free Search Engine Optomization Guide that’s offered on the site. That does a lot better job of explaining SEO than I ever could, but the gist of it is that comprehensive SEO includes on-page and off-page factors including setting up your page title and keywords, getting and maintaining reciprocal links and one-way links, monitoring your competition and link partners, finding new link partners and checking your page’s status in the search engine rankings. If this sounds like a foreign language to you, you owe it to yourself to at least get the free guide. Okay, nuff said…

SEO Elite will automate a good deal of those tasks or you but there is definitely still some work involved (no free lunch as they say). Though when you consider how quickly you can do things by using SEO Elite, it’s crazy not to. For instance, one Sunday afternoon, I sat down with two of my new sites and found about 30+ link partners for each of them, submitted link exchange requests, and added their links to my Resources Page on each site…all within a few hours (and most of that was spent fiddling around with my Resource Page template, not doing SEO stuff).

SEO Elite also allows you to check out your competition. Simply figure out what keyword you want to rank highly for and type that into Google (or whatever search engine you’re after). Figure out which site is at the top of the results page and plug that URL into SEO Elite. Then the program will go out and find all the sites linking to your target site, the anchor text they’re linking with and lots of other valuable info. You can also check out the target page's on-page SEO (keyword density, etc.). Armed with this info, all you have to do is make improvements to your on-page SEO and mirror the target site’s linking strategy for off-page SEO by contacting webmasters at the same sites your competition is linking with. Pretty soon, you’ll be in as good or better position as your competition because, most likely, they’re not that well optomized and aren’t taking aggressive measures to improve it like you will.

It’s worth its weight in gold, even if you don’t buy the software. There are also some pretty cool videos that explain the various features and why you'd want to use them.

Free traffic should at least be part of your overall traffic-generation strategy and with SEO Elite, you can rest assured that you’ve got one of the best tools out there as part of your arsenal.
